Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. thinks in terms of "Quality, Not Quantity". We consist of a group of woman who stand above the rest in their community and actions. Sigma Gamma Rho accepts membership on the undergraduate and graduate level. To be considered for membership, candidates must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale). However, the following tips and guides should be used whenever one is considering joining any organization, whether it is Greek or non-Greek.

(1). Do your research. Never join any organization unless you know what they are about. Research all other organizations so that you can make an educated decision and choose the one that is right for you.
(2). Decide if you have what it takes. Being Greek is more than wearing paraphernalia and stepping in step shows. It is a life time commitment that requires dedication, loyalty and the best that is within you. It is not for everyone and remember that being Greek does not make you any better than the next person.
(3). Talk to a member. Greeks are just like everyone else on campus. Do not be afraid to approach one. Let yourself be known. Just because you talk to us does not mean you are obligated to join our organization. Feel free to ask us about our organization and maybe the reasons why we joined ourselves.

To be eligible for membership to the Zeta Theta Chapter, you must be have completed 12 credit hours at the University of South Carolina toward a 4-year degree and have a cumulative grade point average of 2.5.
